Welcome to Your Creative Journey

With a fresh, organic approach to art, our classes are designed for all art lovers—from brave beginners to the artistically advanced. We offer a nurturing creative space where you can learn brushstrokes, painting techniques, and colour theory while enjoying the company of beautiful new friends.

Each class is a unique and inspiring opportunity to create a professional work of art that you will be proud to share with your family and friends. Art is about joy, playfulness, curiosity, confidence, and gentle discipline—and I will be right by your side guiding you every step of the way. We all learn and grow at our own perfect pace. This is the beginning of your creative journey, and together we can achieve so much xx

Cher’s — Biography

Passionate from the start about expressing life through art, dance, poetry, and friendship, Cher formally studied art for three years at the PJ Olivier School of Arts in Stellenbosch, South Africa, under international artist Vernon Swart.

Following her first sell-out exhibition in Hong Kong in 1993, Cher studied Journalism at Rhodes University and later Interior Design at The White House School of Design. She travelled extensively throughout Europe and the United States before settling in Cape Town from 2002–2007, where she worked with an extraordinary group of Eastern Cape artists.

In 2007, Cher and her family moved to Perth, Australia. She taught at the Neurological Council of Western Australia (NCWA) and opened her own studio, generously sharing her love of art with others. While continuing her solo career, Cher inspires students and emerging artists to explore palette knives, textured layers, acrylic techniques, drip painting, and the playful joy of colour therapy. Deeply influenced by photography, she captures light and shadow with subtlety and intimacy across her canvases.

Cher has been nominated Artist of the Year, featured on television art programs, and invited to exhibit internationally. She is currently collaborating on her first coffee table book, ‘Flowers of Fire’, inspired by original artworks and the family’s Protea farm days in Africa. She has also been invited to represent one of Australia’s leading international fashion design houses.

“Art is my passion—I rejoice in being alive, and painting is my way of expressing my love of life.”
